There maybe cases where a user may request a credential to be centrally managed eg HMRC. Follow the below workflow for such requests


  1. Service Desk ticket must be raised. You need to ensure you know:
    1. What this credential is for
    2. Who will need access to it
  2. Either have the user create the credential (username/password) in their Vault, or if they've provided the details you can do so on their behalf
  3. On the credential, in the Vault, transfer the ownership to [email protected] (instructions: Transferring Ownership of Credentials - BRian)
  4. In Active Directory:
    1. Create a Security Group that contains users who require access to the credentials, using the naming format 'My1Login-BR-TitleOfCredential'
    2. Add 'My1Login-BR-SyncGroup' to the newly created security group (this will sync the users and security group to My1Login)
  5. Add a note on the ticket for [email protected] to action the final bits in My1Login, ensuring to include the Credential Title and the Security Group name.
